Biography

Ally Purdy graduated with BA (Hons) Glass Design from Staffordshire University in 1998. This was shortly after winning the first scholarship from the American-based Society of Glass & Ceramic Decorators, beating over 50 entrants from all over the world.

She has since been working as a designer in the decorative glass & mirror industry, designing both one-off pieces and ranges supplied to many major retailers throughout the UK and beyond. She recently designed the windows featured in Channel 4's 'Property Ladder' programme.

She is now manufacturing her own ranges of contemporary glass panels, mirrors, glass gifts and jewellery.

Ally has had work exhibited in London, Washington DC and numerous places around the United Kingdom.
